Brand Refinement Giveaway

We are looking for local small or new
business in need of an identity system.

To enter, simply send us 10 facts about you and your business. Keep it interesting, funny, personal, honest. We will choose the individual we would most like to work with based on they write. We will provide them with a creative consultation and then design an identity system for their business.

We are looking for restaurants, food trucks, retail, fashion, music labels, non-profits, anything and everything.

Why are we doing this?

We want to choose the clients we work with regardless of budget or label.

What does it include?

Your own logo with a basic identity system, which is a business card and letterhead. Any working prototypes will be created by us, but further production costs, should you chose to produce the materials, will be paid for by the client.

When does the contest end?

Please submit yours answers by Monday March 1, 2010

This is a take-it-or-leave-it scenario. We design your identity system with our own creative direction and abilities, and you are free to accept it as it is, or nothing at all. Any changes you may request will be honoered at the discretion of Thought Provocative. Anything that is rejected remains the property of Thought Provocative, and cannot be used by you in any manner.

If you choose not to use our work, we don't owe you anything. Each party has no contractual obligation to work with one another. Keep in mind that we are free to use any work we create for you for promotional and portfolio use for Thought Provocative.

10 Facts about Thought Provocative

We have called Los Angeles our home for most of our lives, and we want to work with local Angelenos, especially in the downtown area.

We love dogs! We adopted our dog Rockwell from the pound a few years ago.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Passion Pit, Death Cab, Ra Ra Riot and Taylor Swift.

Our sister studio, Sansrival, designs visuals in motion for TV and film, but our hearts beat fondly our first love of design on paper - the curvature of a drop cap, the texture of a unique paper.

Our past logo and design work has appeared on the side of a tour bus, on a college postcard, on the cd cover of a music artist, on the website of a photographer, on an ad for a radio station.

If we had all the time in the world (and the money to buy film and plane tickets), we'd be traveling, well, the world, documenting what we see on our plastic Lomo cameras.

Green tea lattes are a daily staple in the office.

Chuck and Blair are the perfect couple, the Glee soundtrack is on our music rotation in the office, and Mad Men...I know right!
